Vuse Shop in Shop Retail Sales Advisor

The role of the Vuse Shop in a Shop Retail Sales Advisor is to be an ambassador for the Vuse vaping brand. The sales advisor should act professionally and be customer friendly at all times, with a helpful, polite and courteous manner in front of all customers, colleagues and retail partners. The majority of the role will involve interacting with customers and encouraging them to purchase Vuse products by consulting with them and discussing which products are best suited to their needs.

The customers/shoppers will be passing through a major travel hub in Victoria Train Station, so an understanding of different customer types is essential. The Shop in Shop is based inside the WHSmith store so a positive collaborative approach will also be needed.

The responsibilities for a Shop in Shop Retail Sales Advisor is promoting and increasing sales, customer care and administration all of which will result in incremental Sales for Vuse and WHSmith’s

The shift pattern for this position is as below:

Monday: 7.00-15.00

Tuesday: 14.00-22.00

Wednesday: 14.00-22.00

Thursday: 14.00-22.00

Friday: 14.00-22.00

The Role:

SALES

* Develop working relationships with WHSmith colleagues, constantly improving yours and their knowledge of Vuse brands.

* To maximise sales opportunities by creating an impact with all commuters and shoppers. Approach all shoppers with a smile and a benefit statement regarding the Vuse products. The more customers you approach and help, the more conversions achieved.

* Ensure maximum awareness of Vuse within the store and shop in shop – Make sure all the Point of Sales are placed and assisting in promoting and selling the Vuse products. Make sure all literature and promotion material is on display at the agreed points.

* Be engaging with customers to explain the different products available and assist them in their purchasing decisions

* Report back to your line manager sales successes and all interactions with customers

* Complete all customer interactions in line with BAT / Vuse and WHSmith Guidelines

* To use all the sales tools made available. Sales tools are – Leaflets, Samples and Point of Sale material, and YOU!

* At the request of the Line Manager be available for client store visits

ADMINISTRATION / PAPERWORK

* To ensure that all administration and paperwork is completed accurately, neatly, and promptly in line with procedures and these details are synchronised on your work app hourly.

* To observe, and report on all activity. suggest improvements, new ideas, better ways of working etc.

* To monitor own performance against KPI’s (key performance indicators) on a daily basis and have a plan to improve your results

CUSTOMER CARE

A critical part of your role is to assist all customers with their enquires in a polite and professional way. Queries will embrace:

* What is Vuse

* Features and benefits of the Product

* Matching products to needs

* Why use Vuse over smoking

* Why use Vuse over other PRRP / quit smoking products

Ready to help – informative, proactive, & provides options

As part of this role you will have the following targets to achieve:

* Store specific sales targets

* Growth of Vuse Sales

* Correct and accurate reporting procedures

* To meet standards or higher on visits and mystery shops

* Assist the WHSmith store with any daily activities or Vuse promotions

* Implementation of specific promotions that are briefed as needed
