Location: Darlington
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (paid weekly every Friday)
Hours: 9:30am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Days: Typically Tuesday to Saturday (ad hoc shifts)

About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Retail Assistants to support a busy superstore in Darlington. This is a flexible, ad hoc temporary position, ideal for candidates who are available at short notice and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Providing excellent customer service on the shop floor
Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
Assisting with stock replenishment and visual merchandising
Sorting and pricing incoming stock
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised store environment
Supporting the team with general day-to-day shop duties
Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not essential
Friendly, approachable, and confident when dealing with customers
Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a busy environment and on your feet
Working Hours
Shift: 9:30am - 4:00pm
Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Shifts are offered on an ad hoc basis, typically between Tuesday and Saturday
