Retail Area Manager for well established Food Retail Business based in Surrey. Passionate about driving sales performance, motivating and developing teams to deliver excellent customer service. Exciting opportunity to develop in the role to Retail Area Director level.

Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities for the role will include:
• Owning retail operations and P&L – maximising sales, while controlling staff costs and waste
• Developing shop management teams to ensure consistency of customer experience
• Identifying growth and new business investment opportunities
• Maintaining food safety – ideally level 3 certified, with experience training and controlling food safety across multiple sites
• Liaising with production teams to feedback on product quality, aiding in product development

Essential / Desirable skills include:
• Experienced people-manager and effective leader from a Food Retail or Hospitality background
• Able to train and motivate staff to increase sales, reduce waste and maintain strong food safety standards
• Strong communicator with customers and colleagues and an effective problem solver
• Driving licence and own vehicle for travel between retail outlets (fuel supplement provided)

Office hours, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week - permanent Saturdays, however flexible on day off during week. Salary Competitive with bonus potential.
