A highly regarded London law firm is seeking a Restructuring & Insolvency Paralegal to join its busy Dispute Resolution team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal looking to build a career in restructuring and insolvency law, supporting experienced fee earners on a broad range of contentious, advisory and non-contentious matters. The role offers exposure to both complex, high-value cases and day-to-day insolvency work within a collaborative and supportive team.
The Restructuring & Insolvency Paralegal's Role
The successful Restructuring & Insolvency Paralegal will provide support across a varied caseload, assisting fee earners throughout the lifecycle of matters.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with restructuring and insolvency matters from instruction through to conclusion
Managing case administration and document management
Reviewing, analysing and summarising large volumes of documents
Supporting disclosure and document review exercises
Conducting legal research and factual investigations
Carrying out Companies House, Land Registry and other relevant searches
Preparing court documents, bundles and e-filing applications
Liaising with clients, counsel, court staff and third parties
Attending client meetings, conferences with counsel and court hearings
Taking detailed attendance notes and maintaining accurate case records
The Restructuring & Insolvency Paralegal
Previous paralegal experience within litigation, dispute resolution, insolvency or commercial law
Law degree, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification preferred
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Experience reviewing and managing large volumes of documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
