Restoration Supervisor – Fire & Water

£38,000 – £44,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle | Permanent
Are you an experienced Fire & Water Restoration Technician ready to step up?
We are recruiting for a Restoration Supervisor to take ownership of technical standards across live restoration projects, while developing towards a Technical Manager position.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is already the person other technicians turn to on site but hasn't yet had formal management responsibility.
The Role

Act as senior technical point of contact on restoration projects
*
Oversee technical standards and quality on live jobs
*
Support and mentor Restoration Technicians
*
Provide technical guidance on fire and water damage projects
*
Lead health & safety and field compliance
*
Help plan and allocate work
*
Communicate with insurers, loss adjusters and policyholders
*
Report on workload, quality and technical risks
*
Support the development of training and quality processes
You Must Have
*
Several years' experience in fire and/or water damage restoration
*
Experience within insurance repairs or property damage claims
*
Strong understanding of drying and mitigation
*
Knowledge of the insurance claims process
*
Experience running restoration jobs
*
Experience guiding or mentoring other technicians
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Within approximately one hour of Watford
BDMA, IICRC WRT/ASD/FSRT, CSCS, SMSTS or IOSH would be advantageous.
Progression
A structured development plan will support progression into a Technical Manager position within 18–24 months, including funded management training and regular development reviews.
