Restaurant Manager
Based near Sevenoaks
£35,000 to £40,000
Our client who are based near Sevenoaks are recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join their team.
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.00am to 5.45pm & Sunday 9am to 5pm – this would be on a rotating shift pattern.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 65 members of staff including 3 supervisors, experience managing a large number of staff is essential for this position.
Job Role:
* Oversee daily operations to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Maintain high standards of quality control and hygiene
* Recruit, train and supervise 65 members of staff
* Create staff rotas to ensure cover and adapting at short notice if needed due to staff sickness
* Address & resolve any employee issues and resolve conflicts
* Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
* Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner
* Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service
* Manage the restaurants budget and financial performance
* Monitor and control costs
* Oversea ordering, stock levels and inventory management
Experience Needed:
* Experience working as a Restaurant Manager managing a large head count of staff
* Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
* Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
* Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
* Experience creating and managing staff rotas
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
