Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with North Star Children's Homes to recruit a Responsible Individual to hold oversight of their residential children's homes across Berkshire and Surrey.

Support, supervise, and develop Registered Managers, holding them to account for practice standards.

Lead on Ofsted registration, inspection preparation, and regulatory compliance across the group.

Monitor quality assurance, Regulation 44 and 45 reporting, and improvement planning.

Work with the leadership team on growth, new registrations, and service development.

Build strong relationships with placing authorities, Ofsted, and partner agencies.

About You

You will be a senior residential childcare leader with:

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential).

Substantial experience at Registered Manager level or above, ideally with prior Responsible Individual experience.

Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted framework.

A track record of driving improvement and supporting homes through inspection.

Why North Star Children's Homes?

A varied week, with roughly four days across the homes and one from home.

A growing provider where you can genuinely shape quality and direction
