This provider, located in Shropshire, specializes in providing care for children and young people with learning disabilities. Their focus is on transforming lives and experiences, promoting personal, social, and emotional well-being, and guiding individuals in all aspects of life in a bespoke and individualized way.
They are currently looking to expand their services and are seeking an experienced Head of Care/Responsible Individual to join their management team. This role involves overseeing their care services and Responsible Individual responsibilities across the organization.
With an existing home that has received an Ofsted Outstanding status, a second home recently registered, and plans for further expansion in Shropshire over the next three years, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

As Head of Care/Responsible Individual, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the strategic and day-to-day residential care operations of the company
* Leading teams to provide high-quality services for children
* Contributing to strategic management and development
* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements
* Supporting the development of care policies
* Managing referrals
* Maintaining a positive work culture
Ideal candidate:
* Experience managing an Ofsted registered children's care home
* Previous experience as RI/Ops Manager is desirable
* Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
* Experience working with children with learning disabilities
* Knowledge of relevant legislation
* Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
* The ability to build positive relationships with a multi-disciplinary team
