About the role:
This is a full-time role and we are looking for a calm, resourceful and energetic individual who is well motivated, hardworking and keen to join our friendly team. You will provide person-centred care and support to guests within our respite services in Doncaster. This is simply a Senior Carer role for an individual with a proven Senior Healthcare background.
SHIFTS: Variable shifts available including: days, afternoons and sleep-ins, occasional awake nights also available
Locations: Doncaster
Pay Rate: up to £14.5 /HR
Candidate requirements:
* The Respite Co coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day patterns of care and support in the home are based on the principles of good quality care
* To implement and support in the use of outcome based support plans, and help the individuals to make informed choices and decisions, manage risk and contribute to Service Planning.
* Active involvement within handover’s, meetings and guests reviews and the day to day management of Staff members, including Supervision, Training and Mentoring.
Specialist Skills and Knowledge
* Medication Training
* Experience of management in health and social care
* NVQ Level 2
* Experienced in care planning
