The Role

Do you have demonstrable experience within a fast-paced customer service environment? Do you have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills?

Connect2Halton are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Resourcing and Customer Service Assistant with excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting recruitment processes in a dynamic setting.

The successful candidate will increase and develop the Connect2Halton agency-managed service candidate database and support the delivery of excellent service to the team’s hiring managers and candidates. They will manage the candidate flow between the external agency supply chain and hiring managers.

Connect2Halton is the in-house managed service recruitment provider to Halton Borough Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the implementation of a new joint venture. Our objectives are to build a strong relationship with Halton Borough Council, which will in turn enable us to provide integral recruitment services for temporary, contract, fixed term and permanent staff within multiple disciplines.

Key Duties:

Place adverts and proactively source candidates using available media such as job boards, social media, internal databases, local and sector-specific job fairs and referrals.

Match and select suitable candidates from applications received, screening candidates over the telephone and face-to-face.

Input all relevant information relating to vacancies, candidate submissions and workers onto the Connect2Halton systems.

Provide initial compliance support through the use of the Connect2Halton ‘screening’ portal and work with the Commercial Services Group Compliance team to ensure all candidates are fully compliant to work with appropriate safeguarding checks complete.

Book and conduct candidate registrations both on and off site, building relationships with candidates at all levels.

Provide excellence in customer service and administrative support to Talent Partners including the flow of candidates between the external supply chain and hiring managers.

What we need from you

Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced temporary recruitment, customer service or sales environment

Excellent IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel

Excellent time-management and organisational skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Solution focused with a 'can-do' team focused attitude
