Premier Education is working in partnership with a large, inclusive primary school near Manchester city centre that is seeking a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant to join its Resource Provision from September 2026 on an ongoing basis.
This welcoming school prides itself on creating a supportive learning environment for all pupils and has a strong commitment to inclusion. You'll play a key role in helping children with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, some of whom may display behaviours that challenge.
The role
As a Resource Provision Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils within a small-group provision setting
Deliver targeted interventions and learning support
Provide occasional 1:1 support where required
Help pupils develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO and wider support staff
Create a safe, calm and engaging learning environment where pupils can thrive

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations
A passion for supporting children with additional needs
Essential requirements
Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
Based in or able to commute to Manchester city centre
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
