We are looking for caring, resilient, and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team within a Children's Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) residential home. Key Responsibilities

* Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people.

* Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment.

* Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.

* Act as a key worker and contribute to individual care plans.

* Support education, independence, and personal development.

* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

* Work collaboratively with families, social workers, schools, and other professionals.

* Maintain accurate records and reports.

* Safeguard children and young people at all times.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 6 months' experience working with children or young people in a care, education, support, youth work, or similar setting.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to advocate for young people and promote their wellbeing.

* Professional, reliable, and committed to safeguarding.

* Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

* Passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes.

Desirable Experience

* Previous experience in residential childcare (highly advantageous).

* Understanding of behaviour support strategies.

* Experience working effectively as part of a team.

* Strong emotional resilience and integrity.

* Relevant Health & Social Care or Residential Childcare qualifications.
