About the Role:
We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for an OUTSTANDING rated Children's EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) provider in Glossop. This role involves supporting children and young people aged 11-17, helping them to achieve their potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Various shifts are available to accommodate different schedules.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with EBD.
Assist with daily activities, including education and recreational activities.
Implement individual care plans and therapeutic approaches tailored to each child’s needs.
Promote the emotional and physical well-being of the children.
Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with the care team and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision.
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people, preferably within an EBD setting.
Strong understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties and therapeutic care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must hold a valid UK manual driving license due to the use of company vehicles.
