Description:

We are looking for skilled and committed residential support workers to join our team at our children’s home in Camden. We offer full-time and part-time contracts, with day, night, and mixed shift options.

About us

KPMS has been operating children and young people’s services since 2006, focusing on supporting our residents in recovering from adverse childhood experiences to eventually lead independent and safe lives. We specialise in risk management for young people with complex needs. We believe that children have a better chance of success when they have the skills and resources to navigate the next stages of their lives. We aim to offer high-quality residential care to children and young people in a nurturing, understanding and safe environment.

Candidate criteria

We are looking for people who align with our core values. We want to create a team of practitioners who demonstrate the following:

1. Curiosity – are you interested in and maintaining curiosity to safeguard and make good decisions?

2. Enthusiasm – can you keep an energetic focus and passion in ensuring children and young people receive the best service possible?

3. Responsibility – do you take ownership over your actions, decisions, and reactions?

4. Creativity – are you committed to using imaginative or new ways of working to optimise results for children?

5. Integrity – do you choose the right way, not the easy way?

In addition to demonstrating our values, candidates will also have:

* A minimum of 1 year’s experience working directly with children and young people

* A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. In some circumstances, we may consider candidates without the relevant NVQ who have exceptional experience and are willing to complete the qualification during their employment.

* Excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills
