Salary: £29,640 plus performance bonus

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

We are looking to recruit a Residential Home manager who is committed to high standards of care and support and can provide leadership for a 6 bedded home. Alongside managing a staff team of support workers and providing a quality service and safe environment for our service users who have learning disabilities. The candidate will have management experience in a healthcare-related role.

The successful candidate will be directly accountable to CQC and must have a working knowledge of the law and regulations associated with the Registered Residential Home Manager position.
Driving license is an advantage but not required

Qualifications and requirements for the role of Registered Residential Home Manager:
• Good general education
• QCF level 4 as a minimum in Health & Social Care
• As a minimum 2 years previous experience in Health & Social Care preferable with Learning disability experience.
• Working towards Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care QCF
• Completed Level 5 QCF

Our client is part of a large Care company that still manages to maintain that warm family feel, with great support networks to include regular supervision, coaching, and mentoring of staff. Homes are small for that personal touch and to ensure a person-centred approach for each person that lives within the home. Feedback from staff is encouraged to allow us the company to continue to grow and remain connected with the staff who provide the hands-on care provided.

The aim is to support the people that live within the home to do so as independently as possible. Providing great training opportunities for staff to ensure they have all the skills that they need to assist the lovely people that are looked after and for them to live a safe, structured, and fulfilled lifestyle.

Schedule of work for the Residential Home Manager:
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
• Performance bonus

Experience:
• care home management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
• Level 4 or 5 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social care (required)
