Position Overview:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Residential Children's Support Workers to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have prior experience working within a residential childcare setting and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

* Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all residents.

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.

* Engage in regular supervision, training, and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

* Proven experience working within a residential childcare capacity.

* Ideally, hold a valid driving license. Own transport is not required to carry out daily responsibilities as pool cars are provided.

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Training and Development:

Our client prioritises the growth and development of their staff. All Residential Support Workers will receive comprehensive training in line with The Children’s Homes Regulations and Standards.

Additionally, all staff members are required to have, or work toward, a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce. For new employees without this qualification, they offer on-site support and assessment with external training providers.
