Resident Liaison Officer
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Temporary, 2-3 months initially
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5pm
Start: Immediate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join a busy property services company temporary contract (initially).
The role will involve travel across Sheffield. Applicants must therefore be comfortable travelling regularly and have access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively following up on properties where access has not been gained and arranging appointments
Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the works
Clearly communicating the nature, scope and timescales of planned works
Building positive relationships with residents and local communities
Coordinating access arrangements to help ensure works remain on schedule
Handling resident queries, concerns and sensitive situations professionally and empathetically
About You
To be considered, you will need:
Previous experience in a similar customer or resident-facing role
The ability to manage sensitive or challenging situations calmly
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
A resilient, organised and proactive approach
Good Microsoft Office skills
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehiclePrevious experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer or Tenant Liaison Officer within social housing, planned maintenance, retrofit or property services would be highly desirable.
