Resident Liaison Officer

Parker Jones Group are currently recruiting on behalf of a large property services/building maintenance contractor. They specialise in property maintenance and refurbishments. As a result of their continued success, they are seeking an experienced RLO to help support their ongoing repairs and maintenance maintenance contract based around the Basingstoke area.

Overall Purpose of Role:

To be the key liaison/contact between residents, contractors and the client whilst works are taking place. Processing and providing information to all parties involved in order to progress work until completion and obtaining resident satisfaction surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

* The key point of contact with residents whilst major works are being carried out externally or inside of their home.

* Ensure the correct letters are sent to pre-inform residents of works taking place with sufficient planning time.

* Carry out pre-site questionnaires necessary with residents along with colour choice if necessary for fixtures and fittings.

* Arranging pre-site meetings on site for resident consultation.

* Identify and deal with any special needs arrangements for language problems, elderly, disabled residents in consultation with any residents associations or partnering staff.

* Ensure residents are provided with the appropriate information such as the resident pack and their chosen colour choices etc…

* Ensure residents are kept up-to-date at all times of appointment times, delays etc.

* Ensure that the consultation process before, during and after the work is maintained at all times with the resident.

* Day-to-day resident relationship ensuring they are happy with the works being carried out and are updated and safe at all times.

* Work closely with the Site Manager understanding what roles they carryout and ensure any operational feedback from the resident is passed on asap so that they can deal with the issue/query straight away.

* Carry out satisfaction surveys at the end of the works

* Ensure that the program of works is delivered efficiently, effectively and with minimum disruption to the resident.

* Increase the businesses involvement within the community looking out for and helping with community initiatives.

* Maintain any required spreadsheets.

* Ensure IT systems are fully updated at all times after site visits etc.

* Support and encourage an effective Partnering relationship between the client, resident and contractor.
