R&D Controller role within a category leading healthy food brand

Location: Dorset (Hybrid working)

Salary: £80-85k plus car and package

Our client:

* This business critical role will own the development and creation of the product portfolio

We're looking for an experienced R&D Controller to lead the creation and continuous improvement of a portfolio of FMCG food products.

This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving innovation from concept to launch, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring products remain best-in-class in quality, performance and consumer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and deliver the product innovation strategy and pipeline.

* Lead end-to-end product development, from concept through to launch.

* Drive continuous improvement across existing products, enhancing taste, texture, quality and consumer appeal.

* Leverage consumer insights, trends and market data to shape product decisions.

* Lead and develop R&D and product development capabilities.

* Build strong partnerships with suppliers, research organisations and innovation networks.

* Team leadership

About You

We're looking for a commercially-minded innovation leader who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of consumers and markets.

* Degree-qualified with a strong background in Food Science, R&D or Product Development.

* Proven success launching and scaling FMCG products.

* Experienced in product renovation and quality improvement.

* Able to translate consumer insights into commercially successful products.

* Strong stakeholder management, project leadership and influencing skills.

* Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional consumer experiences.
