Research Analyst - Graduate level opportunity
Full time office based - Charing Cross, London
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 negotiable depending on experience

A fascinating entry level' opportunity working with a small & balanced team where everyone's work is viewed as important. They are a specialist consultancy who work with the legal profession to support the recovery of a range of losses including Competition, Financial Services and Employee rights. You will need to be naturally inquisitive, a collaborative worker and equally comfortable with words and numbers.

This role is full time and based at their offices close to Charing Cross, London.

About the Role
They are looking for a talented graduate to join their team as a Research Analyst.
You will assist their programmers and quantification experts, gathering historical data from primary and secondary sources as well as undertaking a range of activities required to capture and document the provenance of the data.

Specific role and responsibilities
The candidate will be required to:
• Find, assess and populate databases with historical data from the public domain and other intelligence sources.
• Gather information from clients, ensuring correspondence from clients is logged, in a timely manner.
• Maintain records such that they can be submitted as evidence, if required.
• Work on projects alongside our Data Analysts and Scientists.
• Capture data from the data sources when it does not exist digitally.

Training, education & qualification
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent qualification. The skills and attributes required to be successful in this role are:
• A positive, helpful and enthusiastic attitude.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Comprehend and follow instructions, challenging them for clarity if needed.
• Capable of anticipating problems and proposing solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively (telephone, email and face-to-face) with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• High levels of verbal and numerical reasoning and excellent writing skills.

Additional Requirements:
• Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK.
