The Role

As Repairs Supervisor, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Managing and motivating a team of multi-trade operatives

✅ Monitoring productivity, quality, and performance

✅ Carrying out site inspections and quality audits

✅ Ensuring repairs are completed right first time

✅ Supporting resource planning and work scheduling

✅ Managing health & safety compliance, RAMS, and site standards

✅ Building strong relationships with residents, clients, and internal teams

✅ Mentoring apprentices and developing team capability

What We're Looking For

✔ Previous experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Senior Tradesperson within social housing

✔ Strong technical knowledge across responsive repairs and maintenance

✔ Experience leading mobile workforces and driving performance

✔ Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance processes

✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills

✔ IT literate with experience using mobile workforce systems

✔ CSCS Card

✔ SSSTS, SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely desirable

✔ Full UK Driving Licence
