Repairs Supervisor
Hourly/Day Rate - Temporary to Permanent
Suffolk, East Anglia
Due to continued successful growth, we have 3 new opportunities to join our clients repairs and maintenance team in the Suffolk region. As a Repairs Supervisor you will be responsible for the running and overseeing of property maintenance and repairs to Social Housing Properties covering a geographical patch in relation to your locality, however travel will be essential.
Hours are generally Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm, but will sometime require you to work longer to fulfil the contract requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing a range of trades ensuring their work is carried out in a prompt and timely manner
Advising and organising with the client as to when other trades are required
Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
Recording and submitting accurate data.
Affording excellent customer service to client representatives and tenants.
Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times.
Operating within the company's occupational road risk policies and procedures What you will need
Previous experience in a management or supervisory position, predominantly in Social Housing
Ideally a trade background in City & Guilds or equivalent in a core trade such as Carpentry or Plumbing
Full UK driving license (Max 5 points) and no recent driving bans
Must be able to pass basic DBS check Desirable but not role is temporary for a minimum of 3 months, with a view to turning permanent for the right candidates.
