Repairs Resolution Officer
Southwark
I am recruiting for a local authority who is looking for someone to be responsible for answering stage one complaints and members enquiries on behalf of repairs and engineering services.
Job Role
To carry out investigations in line with the Council's overall vision, values and strategic aims, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered.
To have direct contact with customers in the provision of a front line complaint service. Deal with general customer queries and complex enquiries, and resolve any form of customer dissatisfaction.
Work with the council's contractors to provide an excellent repair service, by arranging repairs and monitoring to completion at required standard.
To support the Repairs Resolution Manager in the implementation, maintenance and continuous development of the Council's compensation policy with the objective of making compensation awards early on in the procedure thus minimising costs to the Council.
To learn lessons from complaints and in conjunction with the customer resolution management team, implement changes that result in improved service delivery across the Council and to work with senior managers to ensure that these changes are implemented.
Support Repairs Resolution Manager with the creation of project plans and other control tools, including the identification of interdependencies.
Have direct contact with customers either by telephone or face to face - deal with general queries and enquiries, and resolve any form of customer dissatisfaction
