Houghton Regis | Full-Time | Office-Based

We are looking for an experienced and organised Repairs Booker to join our busy social housing maintenance team in Houghton Regis.

This is a fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for managing a high-volume inbox, making outbound calls to tenants, and scheduling maintenance appointments for our engineers. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy environment, be highly organised, and have excellent customer service skills.

Main Responsibilities

* Managing a busy shared inbox and responding to customer enquiries

* Making high volumes of outbound calls to tenants

* Scheduling and booking maintenance repairs for engineers

* Rearranging appointments and updating repair records as required

* Ensuring all jobs are accurately logged on the company system

* Liaising with tenants, engineers and clients to ensure appointments are completed efficiently

* Providing excellent customer service at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a Repairs Booker, Scheduler, Planner or Customer Service role

* Experience working within social housing, repairs or property maintenance is highly desirable

* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

* Strong administration and organisational skills

* Ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment

* Good IT skills and attention to detail

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

* Required to work until 6:00pm on a rota basis

* One Saturday or Sunday per month

* Additional hours paid at standard hourly rate
