Description:
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Manchester, who are recruiting for a Rent Accountant on a temporary 3–6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.
The position is due to start as soon as possible with an hourly rate of pay of £26.29 - £28.93 via an Umbrella company (dependant on experience).
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Rent or Service Charge within a Housing Association.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Updating rent on a weekly basis, property records and identifying anomalies
* Completing monthly rent reconciliations and other ad hoc reconciliations
* Dealing with rent related queries and providing information to customers
* Assisting with third party accounts preparation and collecting payments of income
* Calculating and preparing all income related journals and other journals to ensure accurate reporting of management accounts and balance sheets
Experience required:
* Rent or service charge experience
* Housing association background
