Renewals Executive
Location: Telford
Salary: £26,000–£27,000 + Commission
Hours: Monday to Friday- 8.45am – 5.15pm
Are you confident speaking with customers, great at building relationships and comfortable having conversations around renewals?
We are looking for a Renewals Executive to join a friendly and supportive team in Telford. This is a customer-focused role where you will take ownership of your customers, manage renewal conversations and help deliver an excellent experience from start to finish. You will speak with customers ahead of their renewal, understand their requirements, review the options available and provide clear, accurate information to help them make the right decision.
The role:
Proactively contact customers ahead of their renewal dates
Manage renewal enquiries by telephone and email
Understand customer requirements and ensure information is accurate and up to date
Review available options and provide clear information and guidance
Build strong relationships to encourage long-term customer retention
Handle objections confidently and work towards agreed retention targets
Identify appropriate opportunities to introduce additional products or services
Liaise with external partners and internal teams where required
Complete customer documentation accurately and maintain clear records
Work towards agreed income, retention and customer service targets
Ensure customer interactions are handled professionally and in line with regulatory requirements
What we are looking for:
Previous experience within renewals or sales is essential
Confident and professional telephone manner
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A customer-focused approach and genuine desire to deliver a positive experience
Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets
Ability to handle objections and have effective customer conversations
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good IT skills, including email, internet and CRM systems
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English, or equivalent
Previous experience within a regulated environment would be advantageous
What’s on offer:
£26,000–£27,000 basic salary + commission
Monday to Friday
Office-based role in Telford
Fully funded qualification following successful completion of probation
