This presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled water hygiene plumber based within proximity to Birmingham to join their award-winning team, undertaking projects across the West Midlands region.
Requirements for the Role:
* 1-2 Years' experience in a comparable role is necessary.
* An NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in plumbing is required.
* Experience as a Water Hygiene Plumber within a healthcare environment would be highly advantageous.
* Successful completion of a DBS check is mandatory.
* Possession of a full UK driving licence is an essential for this position.
* Thorough understanding of the water treatment industry, including ACOP-L8, is essential.
Responsibilities as a Water Hygiene Engineer:
* Conducting TMV inspections, providing services, and installing new units.
* Handling expansion vessel installations, modifications, and replacements.
* Performing full system disinfections to maintain hygiene standards.
* Completing tank inspections and chlorination procedures.
* Installing unvented hot water systems efficiently.
* Removing dead legs and modifying pipes.
* Conducting testing, analysis, and dosing for closed systems.
* Collaborating with engineers and the technical manager to ensure work meets high standards.
