ASAP Start

Long-Term Supply until Christmas 2026 – Fixed-Term Contract from January to July 2027

£175–£270 per day, depending on experience

* Are you a passionate and driven Religious Studies Teacher looking for a new opportunity to start ASAP?

* Are you an ECT or experienced Religious Studies Teacher who can confidently teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4?

Classroom Talent is working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school in the Bishop's Stortford area, looking to appoint a Religious Studies Teacher to join them as soon as possible.

This is a full-time, long-term supply position starting ASAP until Christmas 2026, with the successful teacher then having the opportunity to move onto a fixed-term contract directly with the school from January 2027 until July 2027.

The successful Religious Studies Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 teaching depending on experience. You will need strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently deliver the school's Religious Studies curriculum at GCSE level.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an ambitious ECT or an experienced Religious Studies Teacher looking for an immediate role with the added security of a fixed-term contract through to the end of the academic year.

PERSON SPECIFICATION – RELIGIOUS STUDIES TEACHER

* Must have UK QTS or QTLS, or be in the process of gaining QTS

* Able to teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4

* Confident delivering the Religious Studies curriculum at GCSE level

* ECTs are welcome to apply

* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Studies

* Able to demonstrate strong classroom practice

* Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a successful department

* Open to feedback and continued professional development

* Available to start ASAP
