Are you a passionate and inspirational Religious Education Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield on a full-time supply basis from January.

The Role

Full-time RE Teacher position
January start
Teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for RE
The ability to engage, inspire and motivate students
Excellent classroom management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
A commitment to promoting equality, inclusion and respect for different beliefs and cultures
A proactive and professional approach to teaching and learning
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
