Calling all Religious Education Specialists seeking a role starting in the new academic year, in September 2024.
Now Education is recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming Secondary School that is seeking a Religious Education Teacher with QTS, full time and on a long-term basis. This role is in situated within the Ashbourne area, Derbyshire.
You will be teaching Ks3 and Ks4 pupils the RE curriculum and you must hold extensive knowledge of this syllabus and be confident in teaching and engaging students at all times. You must have determination to help improve results and have a drive to have a positive impact on learning journeys.
As a RE Teacher, you will be in the Languages department, delivering lessons daily to a variety of ages and a variety of abilities.
You will also get the opportunity to put a smile on a child’s face, positively impact their learning journey and teach them everlasting skills, how rewarding!!
Whether it is encouraging participation or teaching them a new skill, your role will be fulfilling.
The ideal person must:
* Hold UK QTS or have completed a PGCE in Religious Education
* Have experience teaching Ks3/4/5
* Have the ability to effectively communicate with students, supporting their needs
* Engage with students within the classroom setting
* Have excellent reading, writing and numerical skills
* Be educated at degree level at a minimum
* Be flexible and adaptable
* Have the get up and go mentality!
* Be organised and have good timekeeping skills
* Act accordingly to the school’s behaviour policy and ensure you are using it where needed
