The Role

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire students to explore a range of religious, ethical and philosophical perspectives.
Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Has experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
Is passionate about promoting tolerance, understanding and respectful discussion.
Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
