Religious Education teacher - September - Oldham
We are working closely with a secondary school in Oldham who are recruiting for a QTS qualified teacher of Religious Education. The role will be full time and will be for the whole of the academic year, from September until July. Teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes.
This position is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers.
You will be required to become fully immersed into the department and the school. You will need to attend parents evenings and departmental meetings when they arise. You will plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons, mark the work and provide regular feedback to students.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated with a good classification
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, GTP, B.Ed)
Previous experience teaching young people
Experience of teaching secondary education (that can be referenced)
Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last 12 months (essential)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE POSITION THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING YOU MUST:
Hold right to work in the UK
old an enhanced child barred DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one at a cost of £45.80
Provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last 2 years
