Location: Ashford  
Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)  
Start date: September 2024  
Contract: Full-time, long-term  

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and inspirational Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a reputable school in Ashford. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to foster students' understanding of various religious beliefs, values, and traditions, while promoting critical thinking and empathy.

Religious Education (RE) Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons that cater to a diverse range of students, encouraging active participation and a deep understanding of the subject.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and curiosity about different religions and cultures.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student development and address individual learning needs.
- Stay current with educational best practices and religious studies knowledge to continually improve teaching quality.

**Requirements for the Religious Education (RE) Teacher:**
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant qualifications in Religious Education.
- Experience teaching RE at the secondary school level.
- Ability to create well-structured and engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of each class.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Commitment to raising attainment and making a difference in the lives of young learners.
