Reliability Engineer
East Kilbride | Days
Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a Reliability Engineer for their busy East Kilbride site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join a high-volume manufacturing operation and play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and driving engineering performance.
The Role
Working closely with Engineering and Production, you will analyse equipment performance, identify recurring failures and develop solutions to improve reliability across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
* Analysing breakdowns, downtime and equipment performance
* Identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions
* Supporting the development of PPM and maintenance strategies
* Using data to identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability
* Supporting engineering projects and equipment upgrades
* Working closely with Production and Engineering teams
About You
You will have experience in a Reliability, Maintenance or Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
You will ideally have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with root cause analysis and a proven track record of improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
Food/FMCG experience would be advantageous, but engineers from other high-volume manufacturing environments will also be considered.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
