A specialist case management and rehabilitation company are looking for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to work with one of the Male clients with an acquired brain injury in his home and the community supporting him with social and leisure activities.

As Rehabilitation Support Worker you will be working with one the Male clients, things he likes and requires assistance with are:

Gardening and tinkering with his garden ornaments.
Attending Headway and other social events.
He is keen to start accessing other activities in the area and uses the bus for most travel needs, so good knowledge of bus routes would be preferable.
We are keen to speak to people about this Rehabilitation Support Worker opportunity who have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience of working with adults.
Excellent skills in managing anxiety would be desirable for this position.
Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
Driving licence and car owner is desirable but not essential.
This is a part time position working 22 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
