This is a varied role that will suit someone with strong chemical regulatory knowledge who enjoys working across product compliance, classification, labelling and technical documentation.

You will work closely with teams across R&D, Quality, Operations, Commercial and Marketing, providing regulatory guidance and helping ensure products remain compliant across multiple markets.

The Role

As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will take ownership of a range of product compliance activities, including:

* Preparing, reviewing and maintaining compliant Safety Data Sheets for formulated products, ensuring documentation remains accurate following formulation or regulatory changes.

* Carrying out product classification in line with EU CLP, GB CLP and GHS requirements, including hazard classifications, signal words, H-statements and P-statements.

* Managing Poison Centre Notifications and UFI codes, including preparation and submission of PCN dossiers and ensuring these remain current when formulations or classifications change.

* Reviewing and approving product labels, packaging and artwork to ensure they meet relevant regulatory requirements across areas including CLP, detergents, claims and environmental labelling.

* Assessing the regulatory impact of new product development, formulation changes and raw material substitutions.

* Reviewing supplier SDS information and determining any resulting impact on finished products.

* Providing practical regulatory advice to internal stakeholders on labelling, pictograms, language requirements, recycling information and other compliance considerations.

* Monitoring changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, identifying potential impact on existing and future product ranges.

* Supporting continuous improvement within the regulatory function, including SOP development, process improvements and regulatory change projects.

* Helping maintain accurate regulatory records, technical documentation and justification files to support both compliance and customer requirements.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have:

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience within Regulatory Affairs.

* Strong practical knowledge of CLP/GHS classification.

* Hands-on experience writing and maintaining Safety Data Sheets.

* Experience using Lisam ExESS or a comparable SDS/regulatory software system.

* Previous responsibility for PCN submissions and UFI code management.

* Experience within chemicals, detergents, industrial products or another manufacturing environment.

* The confidence to work cross-functionally and provide clear regulatory guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage changing regulatory requirements and multiple product priorities.

Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established manufacturing business where Regulatory Affairs plays an important role in product development and commercial success.

You will have the opportunity to work across a varied product portfolio, partner with multiple areas of the business and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of regulatory processes
