Location: Durham University International Study Centre
Salary: up to £23,400 per annum (DOE)

Join our Registry & Compliance Team as a key member ensuring the smooth operation of student services. This role involves monitoring and reporting on student attendance, planning and producing timetables and supporting visa compliance and student registration.

ABOUT THE ROLE

* Attend meetings to discuss steps for students with low attendance.

* Support collection of outstanding student fees.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.

* Support data requests for Durham University, Study Group, and management.

* Assist in producing staff and student timetables each term.

* Aid the Assessment Team with exam and assessment tasks.

* Support registration activities and visa compliance checks.

* Provide customer service at the Student Services Helpdesk.

* Support meetings with agendas and minutes.

* Assist with registration, induction, and arrivals, including evening and weekend work.

* Promote and safeguard student welfare, especially for under-18s.

* Assist with visa and compliance requirements.

* Foster relationships with students and staff.

* Support events and provide general administration as needed.

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will enjoy working with international students and staff, and be customer orientated and performance-driven. In addition, the successful candidate will have:

* A Level 3 qualification (Desirable)

* Experience of working in administration (Essential)

* Experience of working with database systems and data inputting (Essential)

* Experience of working with students in an education environment (Desirable)

* Knowledge of data protection regulations (Essential)

* Excellent customer service skills (Essential)

* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, advanced Word and Excel skills (Essential)

* Knowledge of student database systems (Desirable)

* Flexible approach to work and willingness to work evenings and weekends to support student assessment and Induction activities (Essential)
