Our Vision
We aim to foster an encouraging and positive culture where our nurses are empowered and inspired. Here, everyone is equal and every voice is heard. We provide constructive feedback, support each other in the face of challenges, and always treat one another with kindness. Inclusivity and collaboration are essential to ensuring everyone feels respected and valued. Our team's equality, kindness, and closeness shape our working environment, extending respect, kindness, empathy, and professionalism to our clients as well.

Our Expertise
We are a growing small animal practice with two state-of-the-art hospitals in Storrington and Chichester, and four busy branch clinics. We seek a passionate, experienced RVN to join our team. This is an opportunity to use your nursing skills and experience in a positive surgical and medical environment, caring for various patients and handling emergencies.

Our team consists of experienced vets and nurses, many with additional qualifications. We nurture our talent through a comprehensive induction process, regular internal CPD, and a generous CPD allowance, with certificate funding available. Our Head of Nursing Education is developing career progression pathways to support our team's career goals. Our nurses are clinical coaches, supporting many student nurses who complete their training with us. We also offer non-clinical training, such as a bespoke leadership course.

Work Schedule
Our RVNs typically work a 4-day week, totaling 40 hours, with a mixture of shifts (7:30 am - 6:00 pm, 8:30 am - 7:00 pm, and 9:30 am - 8:00 pm). There is a dedicated twilight and night team, so there is no out-of-hours requirement, except for an on-call rota as a last resort backup for the night team. Weekend work involves providing inpatient care and handling emergencies, supported by a team including another RVN, an SVN, an ANA, a receptionist, and two vets. Two days off in lieu are provided for the weekend worked.

Requirements

Valid driving licence due to potential work at other locations
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS)
Team Culture
We are a close-knit team with no cliques, fostering a collaborative environment between day and night teams. We enjoy socializing outside of work through practice events like the summer BBQ and Christmas party, as well as informal get-togethers like cheese and wine nights, dog walks, pub trips, and movie nights.
