Description:

One of the UK’s leading luxury care providers is looking for a Registered Manager with a Registered Nurse background to join them and lead one of their premium homes in Scotland.

Two homes, specialising in tailored nursing and dementia care, are now seeking a Registered Manager who can both lead consistently excellent clinical care and keep operations running smoothly. These homes are located in:

Aberdeen – a relatively large, purpose-built home just outside the city, in a quiet suburban area. Care here benefits from close links to higher education partners and a restful countryside setting, with Greater Aberdeen being a thriving coastal area centred around one of the UK’s most affordable cities, with a rich history, stunning architecture, and plenty to see and do: whether you prefer to explore the local cultural and artistic scene, take on an outdoor adventure, or enjoy more leisurely pursuits.
Thurso – a relatively large, purpose-built home in the Scottish Highlands. A truly idyllic location on the northernmost coast, Thurso is one of the best spots to see the Northern Lights in person and remains a bulwark for traditional sights and attractions, with a port history dating back to Norse times and close links with the Orkney Islands. The home itself has the equivalent of an “Outstanding” rating and is particularly praised for the care taken to support individuality and social inclusion.
As Registered Manager, you will have full autonomy in managing your home with access to the group’s enhanced resources and infrastructure. You’ll ensure both residents and your team get all the support they need, head up continuous service development, and implement quality and governance strategies to go above and beyond Care Inspectorate standards.

Success in your role will be rewarded through service quality bonuses of up to £10,000, in addition to automatic profit share bonuses that can reach up to 100% of your salary.

Should you be open to moving for your ideal role, a significant support package can be discussed to aid your relocation*.

This is a permanent, full-time (40h) position for a Registered Manager.

Person specification:

(Essential) NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RMN / RNLD)
(Essential) Recent experience as a Registered Manager for a care home, to have achieved positive inspection results (ratings “Good” and above) during this time
(Essential) Experience managing care homes with 40+ bed capacity
(Essential) Experience managing care homes with at least 50% private occupancy
(Essential) Sound practical knowledge of elderly and dementia care

Benefits / enhancements include:

Relocation support package*
Automatic enrolment into profit share scheme, with the opportunity to earn up to 100% of your salary in bonuses
Quality bonuses up to £10,000
Company pension scheme (8% ER)
Reimbursed NMC renewal fees if applicable
Substantial learning & development opportunities
Extensive range of holiday, retail, and leisure discounts
Life insurance coverage
Health and wellbeing assistance programme
