Location: Bedford
Position: Care Home Manager
Salary: Up to £52k per annum**
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week 9am -5pm
Contract type: Permanent

About the role:
The Care Home Manager will maintain responsibility for all aspects of resident care within the setting, developing, and building strong relationships with Local Authorities, CQC and Primary Care Trust Commissioners. You will be the forefront in leading the team in ensuring safe and effective care is always provided, guiding, and supporting the team to ensure CQC compliance standards are maintained, taking appropriate action where needed. You will lead all operational aspects working alongside the senior management team to develop and strengthen clinical practise, systems, and processes, maintain staffing levels and create effective strategies for the direction of growth of the home.
About you:
We are looking for a passionate and confident leader who has experience managing a nursing home and a proven track record in achieving and maintaining a 'Good' CQC rating. You will be an effective communicator and keen to share your knowledge and experience with the team to ensure the high standard of care we strive to deliver whilst creating a compassionate and respectful environment for both residents and staff. Above all you will be a caring, compassionate leader who inspires their team and will go the extra mile for their residents and staff.

Requirements:

Proven track record of Good CQC ratings in previous nursing homes
Experience running medium sized nursing homes
Strong commercial awareness
Active NMC desirable but non-clinical candidates with a strong nursing home management background will be considered
NVQ 5 or equivalent desirable
