Registered Manager - Supported Living (Autism, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities)
 
Salary: £40,000 per annum (plus £2000 welcome bonus!)
Location: Fulwood, Preston
Reporting to: Regional Operations Manager
 
About Us:
We are a leading provider of care and support services, committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with Autism, Mental Health conditions, and Learning Disabilities. As part of our expansion, we are opening a newly converted home to provide high-quality care and support tailored to the needs of our residents.
 
About the new service:
The service will offer an 8-bed care home, comprising of 3 self-contained apartments and 5 en-suite bedrooms for individuals with Autism and Mental health needs. The service will offer a much-needed, specialist, community provision for individuals stepping down from inpatient services who require specialist support to develop their independent living skills and live a meaningful life. The environment will be carefully designed for individuals with Autism and will benefit from the clinical and therapeutic support of our in-house Psychology and Occupational Therapy team.
 
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our newly converted home. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the set-up of the home, including recruiting their own team. They will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of person-centred care and support to individuals with Autism, Mental Health conditions, and Learning Disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead a passionate team and make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and management to the care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, promoting independence and wellbeing.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver the highest quality of care and support.
Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
Monitor and review the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. 
Requirements:

Registered Manager with relevant qualification (NVQ Level 5, or working towards).
Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar care setting.
Experience working with individuals with Autism, Mental Health conditions, and Learning Disabilities.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines.
