Registered Children’s Home Manager
3-month interim contract (likely at least 6 months)
West Yorkshire
Up to £450 per day
Inside IR35 (via FCSA Accredited Umbrella)
Full Time 5 days on site initially

We’re currently recruiting for 3x exciting Interim Registered Children’s Home Manager in Yorkshire within a Local Authority.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in West Yorkshire for 3x Registered Children’s Home Manager with a specialism in CWD, Short Breaks or both. You will report to the Service Manager for Children’s Residential and the key focus of this role will be to recruit staff for the Home, conduct supervisions and improve the practice. One of the Homes are looking to improve the rating from Requires Improvement to Good, the other two are looking to maintain Good ratings.

Pay rate:          Up to £450/day Inside IR35 and paid through FCSA Umbrella
 
About your duties as the Registered Children’s Home Manager, Children’s Social Care: 

To lead and manage the development and shaping of the home, ensuring dynamic plans for the children and young people.
Ensure the Home is Ofsted Compliant
Responsibility for identifying the complex needs of the children and young people and providing additional therapeutic support when required.
Safeguarding and promotion of well-being for those who reside within the home.
Ensuring the home complies with the Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015)
Ensuring that the staff have training and development opportunities to enable them to be fully skilled within their fields and understand what Ofsted “Good” looks like 
Your experience needed as the Registered Children’s Home Manager, Children’s Social Care: 

Must have a Level 5 Children’s Home Management Qualification.
Hold Level 5 Leadership and Management Training.
Must have been a Registered Manager (with Ofsted) previously.
Proven track record as Registered Manager in a children’s home.
Must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of practice around Children with Disabilities.
Must have experience of leading a home through an Ofsted inspection.We offer a £200 referral scheme paid in vouchers of your choosing for the successful placement of a candidate if they are not currently on Baltimore’s system.
