About our client: A leading care provider in Aylesbury, committed to delivering exceptional care services to the community. The established service currently delivers over 1500 care hours per week, supported by a dedicated and structured team of over 50 staff members. My client are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Care Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step into their first Registered Manager role to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care services. You will ensure the highest standards of care are maintained while driving growth and efficiency within the service. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will lead and support your team to deliver exceptional care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the care service.
• Conduct care assessments for new clients and review and update care plans for existing clients.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of over 50 staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets regulatory standards and company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the service and increase care hours.
• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations. Lead CQC compliance and inspections and meet KPI targets.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, ensure successful implementation of quality control systems.
• Liaise with clients, families, and external agencies to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure all safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to.
• Share oncall duties – 1 in 4 weekends

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager with a background in Domiciliary services
• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and forward-thinking approach.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Driver’s licence and access to own vehicle
• Resident in the UK with the right to work – Sponsorship is not available
