Service: Domiciliary Service
Location: Gosport
Salary: up to 34K plus bonuses

Toni at Amber Mace is excited to be working with an excellent established care provider in Care Homes who are recruiting for a Registered Care Manager to work with them and their homecare service based in Gosport.

As Registered Manager you will manage their existing Home Care service and the team, you will be working with a supportive provider in growing the service and ensuring it remains compliant with the CQC. As you grow the business you will recruit additional experienced team members to support the growth of the business. My client are looking for a dynamic, energetic and driven experienced Deputy Care Manager or Registered Manager who has a passion for care and the drive to succeed. The successful individual will have previous management experience within a Home Care service.

As the successful Manager of the service you will market the service, deal with bids and tenders ensuring business growth, be responsible for all aspects of the service including recruitment, staff management, training, assessments, CQC compliance etc. My client is extremely supportive and you will be part of an excellent team.

Job Role:
• Be the Registered Manager for the service
• Build and oversee a staff team
• Ensure CQC compliance and standards are met
• Ensure the provision of appropriate levels of assistance at all times for all service users
• Develop the care business in the local community
• Ensure up-to-date and accurate records are kept on service users
• Manage recruitment, training and induction for new starters
• Ensure performance in the areas of hour’s growth, profitability, people-management and quality.
• To ensure that all care is assessed, planned, allocated, delivered and evaluated in line with procedures.

Experience and Qualifications:
• Must have 2 years previous management experience within Home Care (Deputy/Registered Manager)
• Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager - desirable
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Good financial business acumen, experience of budgets etc
• You will have excellent communication and people management skills and have knowledge and a good understanding of current CQC regulations and compliance.
• You will be commercially aware with an ability to develop your service in line with their Strategic Plan and build great relationships internally and externally.
