Up to £36,000 depending on experience Salary can be negotiated

Monday-Saturday 39hrs per week.

Shifts - day 9am -5pm / even 6pm -12pm / night 10pm-7am- on call

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:

Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.

Responsible for budget management.

Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary.

Be responsible for the negotiation of contracts and fees with Local Authorities and PCT`s for new and existing services.

You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home and be an excellent manager of staff.

Registered Manager Requirements:

NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) or the ability to work towards.

Good knowledge and understanding of CQC, Health and Safety and Local Authority requirements.

Experience of managing Supported living and outreach services for children and adults with Mental Health needs, Autism and Learning disabilities.

A background in recruiting staff team and occupancy.

Experience of line managing a large staff team.

We are searching for Care Registered Manager to manage our care home in Scotland, Edinburgh.

The home provides specialist residential care for the Children/young people/ Adults & Elderly.

those suffering with dementia and it is essential that you have a solid background within the health sector.

Main Duties:

Your key responsibilities will centre on the management of the staff team on shift, and the delivery of care to those service users.

See to the smooth operation of the supported living structure.

You will:

Protect service users from avoidable harm and abuse.

Manage risks (e.g. mobility / behaviour / hygiene) to service users so they are supported.

Ensure care staff provide assistance to the service user group in a timely manner.

Assist in the recruitment procedure, in conjunction with our Head Office admin team, and be responsible for mentoring new care staff.

Manage the medication process so service users medicines are received, administered, recorded, and returned correctly.

Review and monitor the quality of the service to drive improvement.

Complete relevant safety checks (e.g. fire / legionella / nurse call).

Manage the DoL process (e.g. applications for authorisation / mental capacity assessments / best interest decisions).

Promote social activities at the residential care home / support, facilitate, and record access to the local community.

You will Ensure service users nutritional needs are assessed and recorded.

Organise service user access to healthcare services and ensure ongoing healthcare support.

Ensure care staff have the confidence and skills needed to carry out their roles and responsibilities through mentoring.

Ensure care staff have regular supervisions.
