I am seeking an experienced nursing home manager for a very successful Good rated medium sized nursing, residential and dementia care home in the east of Leeds

The home is state of the art and part of a growing and independent, very well regarded care home group.

This is an established and successful home with an excellent reputation in the area and you will be supported by 2 deputies and a stable team

As my client is committed to providing a superior level of care and maintaining excellent standards which in turn provides the very best for residents in our care, the ideal candidate would have the following:

* NMC PIN but more important is experience of managing successful nursing homes

* A a record of excellent team management and leadership

* A high standard of achievement in delivering the very best care to your residents.

* A work ethos that show commitment and drive.

* A personality that reflects a can do attitude with a friendly and positive approach

The successful applicant will be able to deliver business performance and quality targets for the care home. You will provide support and leadership to the home staff, implementing a culture of customer focus and quality of service, be able to establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, local authorities.

Requirements:

* Ideally NMC PIN or very clinically experienced or experience of managing nursing homes

* Level 5 in Health and Social Care

* Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative.

* Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service

* Excellent record in achieving results through people

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

* Proficient computer skills in word processing, database use and spread sheet applications.

* Must have full understanding of Private Fee Paying Market Place

* Must have good understanding of Staff Retention issues.

* Must be proficient in Marketing a home and building lasting relationships in the local community
