Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Care Home Manager to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care within our mental health services. As a Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care home, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care to residents with mental health conditions. You will lead a team of compassionate caregivers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the care home team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents with mental health conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including those set by regulatory bodies.
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment for residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as necessary.
• Manage the care home budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet the needs of residents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a management role within a mental health care setting, within a residential care home environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals, along with a commitment to providing person-centered care.
• Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing the provision of care services.
