Principal People are excited to be recruiting for a Regional Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager to join an established utilities organisation who is seeking a passionate, zealous, and innovative individual to join and lead a safety team of three Advisors. This role will offer you the opportunity to work in a hands-on position working in an operational environment and an excellent opportunity to work autonomously.
Covering sites across the Northwest, you will have autonomy to plan your day how you see fit and work in a hybrid format, likely being in the office near Manchester 2 days per week and home/site 3 days per week.
The successful Regional HSEQ Manager will be required to have a people-focused approach to health and safety as well as a basic understanding of street works and involvement with accident investigations, CDM knowledge would also be highly desirable.

The successful Regional SHEQ Manager will be responsible for:
Providing health and safety support to onsite teams.
Promoting a positive health safety culture.
Working alongside the wider safety team to implement a positive safety strategy.
Ensuring effective implementation of HSEQ systems and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Managing a team of 3 Advisors
Delivering and supporting the framework that promotes and encourages an organisational culture that champions an incident-free environment. The minimum requirements for this role are:
NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General Certificate
Experience within Infrastructure or Construction Industries
