Regional Sales Executive (137lw) – Engineering – Field based/Remote –North-East South -£30k + Commission + Company Car + Great Perks

A great opportunity to work for a well-established & successful manufacturing Company with a fantastic (& military friendly) team culture, who are very much focused on career support and progression of their employees. No sales experience is required (full training and mentorship will be provided) & you will be working with existing customers, so no cold calling involved. An interest in engineering, strong customer relations/relationship management & problem-solving skills will help you to be successful in this role.

Our client is a manufacturer of high-performance polymers for movement. They have been developing and producing so-called motion plastics, innovative products made from lubrication-free plastics, since 1964. These include energy chains, cables, plain bearings, lead screw technology, robots and intelligent sensors that help their customers to improve their technology and reduce costs.

To drive growth and evolve, as an organisation our client is recruiting for a salesperson in the North-East South area. This area includes Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Wakefield, Leeds, and Hull. The role will be field based/on the road for 4 days a week and remote 1 day a week. Candidates need to live in one of the above locations.

You will visit, either in person or digitally, a range of customers and prospective customers to discuss, understand and solve problems, applying our market-leading products and engineering capability to provide exceptional solutions.

Responsibilities:

Supporting existing customers

Generating new business and being proactive

Project work

Using Salesforce CRM system to plan your working week efficiently.

Finding engineering solutions to customer requirements

Skills Required:

Digitally competent and able to analyse customer data via dashboards.

An inquisitive and problem-solving approach

An interest or experience in engineering (e.g., are you intrigued about the way things work?)

Excellent communicator to build relationships with customers.

Ability to self-manage your week whilst maintaining high productivity levels.
