Location: Regional (West Midlands)

Are you passionate about construction excellence and technical compliance? Stepnell are seeking a Regional Quality Advisor to champion our high standards across a diverse portfolio of project sites. This is a proactive, hands-on role where you will drive best practices, mitigate risks early, and ensure every project meets the rigorous requirements of the Building Safety Act and BS 99001.

The Role

As the Regional Quality Advisor, you will be the guardian of quality standards within your region. You won't just react to issues; you will engage early with Preconstruction teams to identify risks and provide the training necessary to empower our project teams and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

* Site Excellence: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify that construction work, materials, and installations align with specifications and manufacturer requirements.

* Strategic Improvement: Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and analyse trend data to facilitate learning and prevent recurring defects.

* Pre-construction Partnership: Support bid and pre-construction meetings to ensure Quality Inspection & Test Plans (QITPs) are robust and effective.

* Performance Monitoring: Develop KPI dashboards and monthly reports to track quality performance against our core objectives.

* Continuous Growth: Support the enhancement of our Business Management System to ensure we remain at the pursuit of excellence.

Who We Are Looking For

We need a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and the communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Your Profile:

* Experience: Construction Quality background, Implementation of Quality tools, Quality Inspection, Internal Auditor, working towards or membership of the Institute of clerk of works and construction Inspectorate (ICWCI) an advantage.

* Technical Savvy: A solid understanding of the Building Safety Act (BSA), Building Regulations, and ISO 9001/BS 99001 standards.

* Digital Literacy: Proficiency in digital quality tools such as Field view or Procore
